LANGUAGE IN THE FORM OF SKETCHES

These sketches were inspired by Jeremy Sharma's Sound only exhibition at Aloft at Hermes Singapore in 2018.

I wanted to interpret something truly personal to me and my family, so I thought the local dialect which is "Teochew", it was something that we use to talk to each other.

In this opportunity, I wanted to interpret the "language" into illustration of people interacting to each other.

The reason why these sketches were inside the bubble like shapes, it was to show that the sketches were form from the feelings and memories that I recalled again, while creating the sketches.

Read more about these sketches by going to my blog, where I interpret the meaning of each sketches!
